A Flying Start to the Weekend
Saturday morning I get a phone call from my friend John Breaden. He tells me he is going flying in the clubs new little two seater and is looking for a passenger. A quick rethink of my days plans and I was on the way to the airport to meet up with John. It certainly was a small plane, and fun to fly in. The windows were larger than the Cessna and the ride a little more exhilarating. We sat on the run way and John asked me where would I like to go. We settled on a flight down the Tasman Peninsula and Port Arthur. It's hard to beat for the scenery.
Once we got home we headed down to the church for a fund raising dinner. The event was to raise funds to enable us to financially support our Bible College students. Of course, David is a student at Tabor and was a guest of honour at the dinner.
And then once we get done at church it's time to keep a time honoured Mother's day tradition in our family and lash out for a splendid meal for the whole family at a local restaurant. This time we opted for Indian and ordered the banquet. Lots of food and then some over to bring home!

Wow Lal, great photos on the plane trip. The photo of you with no hair and a goatee - you're starting to look like your older brother!
