Hobart on Fire

Last Saturday we were in New York for our final fling of our world trip. We received a text message from Simon telling us that Hobart was on fire. It turns out there was a major fire started in Myers. The store was almost totally destroyed and many adjoining stores severely damaged by smoker and water. The whole centre of the CBD is affected as they have closed several streets whilst the clean up and demolition is in progress.

We have been home for a couple of days now and still trying to catch up on sleep. We had an amazing trip - but as always, 'it's good to be 'ome'
